Touch a living entity and mark them with Shackles of Misery. Only one entity can be Marked at a time. An ethereal chain can be seen connecting you to the Marked if any magic detection is used. Marking someone increases your Dark Influence Level by 2.

All damage from attacks made towards you is redirected to the Marked living entity. Healing is not transferable. This effect persists unless you manually cancel the Shackles of Misery Mark, the distance between you and the Marked exceeds 45 ft, or the Marked dies. If the Marked dies or the effect is cancelled by other hostile means, you take Dark Influence Level * 1d10 in damage.
