Weapon (pistol), very rare

A sleek and compact ranged weapon that is powered by arcbolt charges. The weapon is made of a lightweight alloy and has a matte black finish. It is fitted with a targeting system that uses a small holographic sight to project a reticle onto the user's field of view. The targeting system grants the user advantage on attack rolls against targets wearing metal armor.
To fire the Arcbolt Pistol, the user loads arcbolt charges into the weapon's chamber and pulls back the charging handle located on the back of the pistol grip. The charging handle compresses a small amount of air into the weapon's firing chamber, which is then released in a controlled burst to propel the arcbolt towards its target.
When fired, the Arcbolt Pistol emits a bright blue-white beam of lightning that crackles and sizzles as it strikes its target. The lightning bolt deals 1d10 points of lightning damage to the target. Additionally, once per day, the user can expend two charges of the weapon's ammunition to chain the arcbolt to up to two additional targets within 15 feet of the primary target.

Proficiency with a Pistol allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
