Amulet of Displaced Senses

This amulet is designed to be split into pieces. The amulet stays with the wearer on their neck while the 5 gems are placed wherever the wearer desires.

Once per day, the wearer is able to feel, see, smell, hear, and taste wherever each of the gems are. This also grants darkvision while a gem is in use. When in use, the gem glows and hums slightly, which can be detected.

This does leave the wearer vulnerable, as they cannot sense their own surroundings while experiencing the gem’s point of view. If the wearer is attacked, the connection is severed.

The wearer can retrieve the gems, wherever they are, by reciting a retrieval phrase chosen by the wearer and waiting 10 minutes.

This piece was co-created by an assassin who wanted to see her target before she struck and a mother who wanted to keep an eye on her kids and pets while she was away.
