Weapon (rapier), rare

Captain Dwelryes' first love. This rapier is the Captain's pride and joy, next to his ship. Alukilia whistles in the air when you swing it, shimmers in the sun, and reflects upon the water. It is almost never not seen on the Captains hip.

The properties of this rapier are as follows.

Righteous initiative- any attack made on any creature who has not made an attack toward you is with advantage, and they take an extra 3d8 damage

Critical slash- On a crit, not only do you deal triple damage as opposed to double, if this reduces the opponent to less than half health, roll another d20. If it's a crit again, its an insta kill. If the DM decides under any circumstances that this isnt possible, they take an extra 4d10 instead.

Proficiency with a Rapier allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.

Notes: Finesse, Vex
