Potion, artifact
Known as the metamorphosis potion. This potion was created and used by some Dragonborn to disguise their appearance in order to be able to walk among the other races.
Before drinking the potion the Dragonborn must have and insert the last ingredient. The final ingredient is a piece of the form that this Dragonborn wants to assume, it could be a hair sample, fur, skin anything containing some humanoid genome.
The transformation process and effects are similar to the Alter Self but the duration is close to one month or until an antidote is used.
