This staff is linked to a deed of great evil (think Shadar Logoth from wheel of time). It might have a name or be closely associated with a villain who used it. Anyone familiar with the staff's history is likely to treat it and its owner with distrust and suspicion.
Effects:
The person attuned to this staff, suffer no harm in temperatures as cold as -28 celsius or as warm as 49 degrees celsius.
While attuned to this staff the bearer becomes obsessed with material wealth.
Proficiency with a Quarterstaff allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
