Weapon (greataxe), artifact (requires attunement by a Barbarian)

A weapon made by the legendary Orc Artificer, Ovul The Silent, designed for Barbarians. Once attuned to this weapon, your rage damage doubles. Being designed for Barbarians, you gain a different effect depending on your primal path. Dispel Magic does not work on this weapon.

Path of the Berserker- When you attune to this weapon as a Berserker, your rage naturally becomes a frenzy. You become immune to being charmed entirely as well. You lose this effect if you stop attuning to this weapon.

Path of the Totem Warrior- When you attune to this weapon as a Totem Warrior, you choose a second totem and gain its abilities, this effect disappears if you stop attuning to this weapon.

Path of the Beast- When you attune to this weapon following the Path of the Beast, this weapon counts as a natural weapon.

Path of Wild Magic- When you attune to this weapon following the Path of Wild Magic, you decide what the wild surge is. You lose this ability if you stop attuning to this weapon.

Path of the Ancestral Guardian- When you attune to this weapon as an Ancestral Guardian, the damage you prevent with your spirit shield is increased by 1d6. You lose this increase if you stop attuning to this weapon.

Path of the Storm Herald- When you attune to this weapon as a Storm Herald, you can choose an additional aura. This disappears when you stop attuning to this weapon.

Path of the Zealot- When you attune to this weapon as a Zealot, your divine fury deals 2d6 + half your Barbarian level.

Proficiency with a Greataxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Cleave. If you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using this weapon, you can make a melee attack roll with the weapon against a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. On a hit, the second creature takes the weapon’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.

Notes: Bonus: Melee Weapon Attacks, Barbarian, Heavy, Two-Handed, Cleave
