Battle Book: this spell-book can be used as a spell-casting focus, providing a bonus to your spell attack rolls and spell-save DC based on this items rarity. on your turn you can use a free action to transform this book into a magical great axe, the pages of the book forming the blade. great axe loses the heavy property and gains the light property, and you gain a bonus to your attack and damage rolls made with it based on this items rarity.
Arcane Smite:when you hit a creature with this spell-book while it is in greataxe form you can expel a spell slot and inflict additional damage equal to 1D6 + 1D6 per spell slot level. you can choose what type of damage that appears in a spell contained in the book, which must be of the level of the expended spell slot.
