Weapon (scimitar), rare

An old, rusted scimitar. This scimitar was one of the weapons the ancients used in battle. However, these weapons are no longer made as the blacksmith who crafted them, along with the original notes for them, are long gone. This scimitar requires two hands but deals 1d8 necrotic damage (as opposed to the normal 1d6 slashing damage). Once picked up, this sword binds itself to the user. This sword cannot be removed from the player's person without penalties.

When this sword is removed from the player's person, the player will feel incomplete and drowsy. Their movement speed will be reduced by half and they will suffer 1d4 necrotic damage. The only way this sword can be removed without repercussion is if it is removed through dispel magic with a DC of 18.

Proficiency with a Scimitar allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.

Notes: Replace Damage Type: Necrotic, Finesse, Light, Nick
