Feathers freely gifted from an Aasimar and/or Couatl. The feathers are pitch black, but appear to have green tint at their tips. Due to the nature of their magic, the feather has no effect on a creature which does not sleep or is protected from divination. Only three feathers may be freely given of these beasts at one time.

Death Guardian. When a character touches the feather for at least half of a long rest, they gain an additional hit die (which can place them over their maximum health).

Death Cheater. When touching the feather, any saving roll that is failed by exactly one becomes a success.

Death Pardon. When touching the feather, the first time the target would drop to 0 hit points as a result of taking damage, the target instead drops to 1 hit point, and the protection ends. Upon this happening, the feather turns to ash.
