Anderson's Ring of Spell Storing and Catching

This ring store spells cast into it, holding them until the attuned wearer uses them. The ring can store only 1 spell at a time and the level of the spell is half, rounded down, of the wearer's level (This uses the casters dex modifier if the target doesn't possess a spellcasting modifier). The spell is then cast at the level it was caught at. This item can be used as a reaction to catch a spell within 20 ft.
