Weapon (dagger), uncommon

This set of bracers are more than meets the eye. Carefully designed to fit seamlessly on the wrists, underneath the sleeves of the wearer, they hide a surprising amount of utility.

Using a Free Action, the wearer can activate a mechanism on the gauntlets to extend or retract a blade from the palm side of the wrists, they can choose to extend one or both blades. These blades count as 2 weapons for the purpose of two-weapon fighting.

The bracer on the wearer's dominant hand also hides an additional ability. The blade in this bracer is attached to a 30ft cord that is attached with a spooling mechanism. As an action on the wearer's turn, they can activate the bracer to launch the blade out of the it's housing at a creature, item, or structure within 30ft of them; doing so by making an ranged attack roll vs the target's AC (This does not count as taking the attack action for the purposes of Two-Weapon fighting). On a hit, the blade attaches to the target, deals damage equal to (1d4 + Dex) and allows for a number of follow-up interactions based on the size and type of target:

- When striking a creature of the same size or larger, the cord on the blade attaches and the wearer can use their Bonus Action to retract the cord and pull themselves to the target, at which point the blade detaches and retracts into the gauntlet.

- When striking a creature of the same size or smaller, the blade attaches and the wearer can plant their feet and make a contested athletics check against the target to attempt to pull them closer. On a success, the target is pulled a number of feet based on the size of the target: Med - 10ft, Small - 20ft, Tiny - 30ft. On a failure, the blade detaches from the target and is retracted into the gauntlet.

- When striking a structure, the wearer can spend their bonus action to retract the cord and pull themselves to the target. When arriving to the target, the blade detaches and retracts into the gauntlet.

- When striking an object;

       - if the object is smaller than 1sqft in size, the attack roll automatically misses.

       - If the object is considered Tiny, the object is pulled to the wearer.

       - If the object is Small, Medium, or Large, the wearer must succeed on an athletics check, for which the DC is based on the object's size: Small - DC10, Medium - DC15, Large - DC20.

       - If the object is any size huge or bigger, the wearer can choose to be pulled to the object or detach the blade and retract it into the bracer.

Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
