While wearing this armor, you gain a +2 bonus to AC, you have advantage on saving throws against death saving throws, and you have resistance to Necrotic damage.
While wearing this armor, you can use an action to speak its command word. A pair of wings made of shadow appear on your back until you repeat the command word again as an action to dismiss the wings. The wings give you a flying speed of 50 feet.
Shadow form: When hit by a melee attack, the wearer can use their reaction to have the armor shift into shadows which swallows and absorbs the attack. This halves any damage taken from the attack, and the armor gains a 1 charge for every 10 points of damage absorbed (up to a maximum of 6). The wearer can then expend charges to deal an additional 1d6 necrotic damage per charge on a physical attack. In addition, the necrotic damage ignores resistance to necrotic damage and hurts undead instead of healing.
Exalted ability: The armor can hold a maximum of 9 charges. To unlock the exalted feature the wearer must absorb a total of 200 damage in 3 days.
Note: every total of 10 grants the armor a charge. So if the armor absorbed 12 points of damage that 10 gives 1 charge and that 2 will count towards the next absorbed attack. So if you then absorbed 18 points plus the 2 from before that would give you a total of 20 giving 2 charges. Keep track of all damage absorbed.
Made from tough but flexible leather, studded leather is reinforced with close-set rivets or spikes.
Notes: Bonus: Armor Class, Advantage: Death Saving Throws, Resistance: Necrotic, Set: Innate Speed (Flying), Damage: Necrotic, Hexblade or follower of the raven queen
