The Beacon of Necromantic Energy sends pulses of necromantic energy in a radius of 1 mile multiplied by the total number of spell slot levels used to charge it, to a maximum of 25 miles. For example, if 3 level 9 spell slots charge, 3 x 9 = 27, but max is 25 so range is a 25 mile radius. All corpses within range, with the exception of those sanctified in some way (by Gentle Repose, for example) are raised as undead. The size of the creature would be the same as it was when it was alive. Stats depends on the DM. Creatures within range that are already undead must succeed a DC 18 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, they become hostile to every non-undead creature around them. On a success, they are immune until the next dawn. If they are still within range of the Beacon, they must roll again.
If unattuned, the Beacon of Necromantic Energy can be used as a regular quarterstaff
Proficiency with a Quarterstaff allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
Notes: Versatile, Topple
