A Weapon Rune is a small stone with a magical rune carved into it. This rune glows with magical energy and always feels warm to the touch. Several different runes exist, often with multiple copies of each. To use a rune, a creature must spend 1 hour binding the rune to a weapon. While any weapon can have any rune, only one rune can be applied to a weapon at a time. When a rune is bound to a weapon, it appears etched somewhere on it and the stone crumbles to dust. If the rune is applied to a nonmagical weapon, it becomes magical. If you try to bind a rune to a weapon that already has another rune, the previous rune is lost forever. The different types of runes are as follows:
Rune of Dragon-Slaying. (Rare) When this rune is bound to a weapon, it deals an additional 3d6 damage of the weapons type to Dragons. This included any creatures with the dragon type, such as dragon turtles and wyverns.
