Armor of shatter guard

This armor is made of small plates that shatter upon impact. Thin layers flacking off with each blow and absorbing half of all bludgeoning damage dealt to the wearer. These thin layers regrow every long rest and absorb up to 50 hp worth of damage before no longer functioning. But it maintains its +3 bonus even if the damage reduction is used up. 

Half plate consists of shaped metal plates that cover most of the wearer's body. It does not include leg protection beyond simple greaves that are attached with leather straps.
