A Simple wooden longbow built for the one true love of the high elf Arwen. While crafting and carving this simple longbow Arwen's love and light for her betrothed transferred into the pure white wood of this bow. The bow had a resounding light and purity once finished, but her true love would never get the opportunity to use this bow. Once hearing of her loves untimely demise Arwen's heart broke and she too had succumbed to death.
When Arwen died the bow shattered due to her despair and loss. It was later attempted to be repaired but was lacking the one thing that made it so special: her love. The original bow and shards were buried with her, but because of the profound effect this had on the high elves, they would not let this act of profound love fade. In remembrance of Arwen's loss and love there were a few longbows crafted with this story in mind.
These bows were crafted from the same pure white wood as the original. There are dark black carvings throughout the bow to resemble the broken bow and heart of Arwen. But there is a faint enchanted golden glow emanating from these cracks resembling the light in Arwen's life, replacing the love that could not be put into these bows the same way Arwen had done.
