Aether Board (Basic)

Powered by the lunar metal Aethium, these mystical objects allow the citizens of Mystren City to surf the winds. The Aethium propels the board into the air while a collapsible sail allows the creature to steer. The most common variant of Aether boards can hold up to two medium creatures up to 400lbs. For ease of storage most inert Aether boards can collapse down to the size of a shield.

An Aether Board grants a creature a flying speed of 60 feet when not in moonlight. When the board is ridden in direct moonlight, the Aethium’s power is doubled, granting a creature a flying speed of 120 feet. 

 You can use the board to fly for up to 4 hours, all at once or in several shorter flights, each one using a minimum of 1 minute from the duration. If you are flying when the duration expires, you descend at a rate of 30 feet per round until you land.

The board regain 2 hours of flight for every 4 hours left “charging” in moonlight.
