Weapon (longsword), artifact (requires attunement)

Legends go that long ago, there was a magical kingdom known as Eternia, ruled by an incredible and fair king named D'Vann Grayskull. Before he died, he hid all their secrets, power, and knowledge of the universe within the walls of the Hall of Wisdom, renamed Castle Grayskull by the Elder Council of Eternia in honor of the king when he passed into the afterlife.

To prevent those who would use the powers hidden away in the heart of Castle Grayskull for evil purposes, they fashioned a key as well as a conduit source for the powers of Grayskull. This was the Sword of Grayskull. Also known as the Sword of Power, its power could only be used by a hero worthy of the power, or those that are blood descendants of D'Vann Grayskull.

To this day, nobody has found the lands of Eternia, as it was believed to have been destroyed by a cataclysm of extreme proportions or hidden away by the sands of time and space...

The Sword of Grayskull is a magic longsword that grants a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it. It scores a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20, and deals an extra 2d10 slashing damage to aberrations and evil humanoids. It also functions as a Weapon of Warning.

Deflection: As a reaction, you can deflect or redirect magical energy when you are the target of a spell attack. When you do so, the damage you take from the spell is reduced by 1d10 + your Dexterity modifier + your level. If you reduce the damage to 0, you can redirect the magical energy. If you redirect the magical energy in this way, you can make a ranged spell attack as part of the same reaction. You make this attack with proficiency, and the range is 30 feet.

The Power of Grayskull: While you are attuned to the Sword of Grayskull, as a bonus action you can make the proclamation “By the Power of Grayskull, I have the power!” Doing so imparts the effects of Tenser’s Transformation with the following exceptions that the transformation lasts until you choose to end it, or you start your turn with 0 hit points. For each additional 10 minutes you remain transformed, you gain an additional level of exhaustion from a failed DC 15 Constitution saving throw when the spell ends.

Siege Weapon: The Sword of Grayskull deals double damage to objects and structures.

You turn into a heavily muscled male (or female, depending on your gender) with long blond hair that goes down to your neck, tan skin, and sky blue eyes. You will be wearing a breastplate with a red 'H' on it, a golden studded bracelet on your right wrist, a golden and leather gauntlet on your left hand, and a gold belted loincloth with black shorts underneath and matching brown boots on your feet.
- While attuned to the Sword, your weight increases by 40 pounds while transformed.

- Major Detrimental Properties -
- When you become attuned to the Sword, there is a 10 percent chance that you attract the attention of a god that sends an avatar to wrest it from you. The avatar has the same alignment as its creator and the statistics of an Empyrean. Once it obtains the Sword, the avatar vanishes and you will need to find a way to get the sword back.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
