You can use this weapon as a normal musket.
Additionally, you can use it as an arcane focus for your wizard, sorcerer or warlock spells. You can use this weapon to shoot any ranged spell that involves an attack roll. If you do this, said spell is considered simultaneously a ranged spell attack and a ranged weapon attack, and you use the range of the weapon instead of the range of the spell.
When casting a spell this way you are considered to be taking the attack action.
If you are a warlock with the Pact of the Blade feature and the Improved Pact Weapon invocation, you can use this weapon as your pact weapon.
Proficiency with a Musket allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
Notes: wizard, sorcerer, warlock, eldritch knight or arcane trickster, Loading, Range, Two-Handed, Ammunition (Firearms), Slow
