Wearing the amulet allows you to cast the spell "Shield". Until the start of your next turn you have a +5 bonus to AC, including against triggering attacks and you take no damage to magic missile.
Curse: The amulet draws it power from your life essence. Every time you cast the spell you lose 5 HP off you HP total which can not be regained until you complete a long rest. If your HP total is reduced to 0 your life essence is exhausted and you will die.
Curse: Attachment-Casting the spell brings great pleasure. A sweet release, the more times used the more you yearn to use it. Once attuned you will not part with this amulet willingly
