Ancient Hag Soul Bag. When a humanoid, fiend, or aberration dies near a hag of the Black Church, the hag catches the soul in this black sack made of stitched flesh. An ancient hag soul bag can hold only three souls, and only a hag who of the Black Church can catch a soul with it. It can also hold other items containing souls in it. Crafting an ancient hag soul bag takes 14 days and a significant sacrifice (including a sacrifice of flesh from the hag that is used to make the bag).
You can use an action to open the ancient hag soul bag to release a soul it contains. The soul returns to the nearest dead body of a creature medium size or larger. The creature is friendly to you and your companions for 1 hour and obeys your commands for that duration. If you give no commands or give it a command that is likely to result in its death, it defends itself but otherwise takes no actions. At the end of the duration, the creature acts in accordance with its normal disposition and alignment.
An identify spell reveals if a creature is inside the bag, but the only way to determine the type of creature is to open the bag. A newly discovered bag might already contain a creature chosen by the GM or determined randomly.
