Weapon (handaxe), very rare

This handaxe was originally created by an archmage as a final farewell for an adventurer ally. It is seemingly forged as one solid piece of black stained metal, with no apparent joints or links. You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

Protection Piercer. This handaxe ignores any additional AC given by spells such as (but not limited to) Shield; Shield of Faith or Mage Armor. It does not ignore AC given by items or magic items unless this item specifically gave this AC by casting a spell.

Anti Resistance. This handaxe ignores all resistances and immunities to slashing damage obtained from magic items or spells.

Barrier Bypass. This handaxe can pass through any magical barrier as long as the barrier is formed of magical energy. This means the axe can pass through barriers formed by spells such as Tiny Hut or Resilient Sphere, but not barriers formed by spells like Wall of Stone or Move Earth. If the barrier cannot be destroyed by Dispel Magic or Antimagic Field then the axe cannot penetrate it.

Proficiency with a Handaxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, Light, Thrown, Vex
