This magical item is a pair of gauntlets, designed to be worn on the character's arms. Asura's Arms have the following properties:
-
Asura's Wrath: When you enter a state of intense rage, such as when you activate your Barbarian Rage or Monk's Flurry of Blows, Asura's Arms awaken, growing an additional pair of arms that are covered in black and gold energy. For the duration of your rage, you can make an additional unarmed strike with these arms as a bonus action.
-
Augmentations: Asura's Arms have three augmentations that can be activated by spending 1 Ki point or 1 use of your Barbarian's Rage. Once an augmentation is activated, it lasts until the end of your turn. The augmentations are:
-
Vajra Strike: Your next unarmed strike deals an additional 1d10 lightning damage.
-
Burst of Speed: Your movement speed increases by 20 feet until the end of your turn.
-
Thunderous Roar: You let out a deafening roar that can be heard up to 100 feet away. Each creature within 5 feet of you must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier) or be stunned until the end of your next turn.
-
-
Awakenings: As you become more powerful, Asura's Arms awaken and grant you additional benefits. These awakenings are:
-
Third Arm: When you reach level 5, Asura's Arms awaken and grant you a third arm. You can use this arm to hold or wield an additional weapon, and you gain a +2 bonus to your Strength score while wielding a weapon with this arm.
-
Fourth Arm: When you reach level 11, Asura's Arms awaken again, granting you a fourth arm. You can use this arm to make an additional unarmed strike as a bonus action, and you can grapple an additional creature using this arm.
-
Fifth Arm: When you reach level 17, Asura's Arms awaken for the final time, granting you a fifth arm. You can use this arm to cast a spell with a range of touch as a bonus action. Additionally, you gain advantage on saving throws against spells and magical effects.
