This coat is made of a dozen puppies which are fully alive, in no pain, and very happy. When not worn as a coat, the puppies separate but always follow each other; in this form, they use the "Mastiff" stat block but do not enter combat. The user must spend one hour playing with the puppies in order to attune to this magic item.
While wearing this coat, you gain the following effects:
• Advantage in Persuasion and Perception skill rolls
• Disadvantage on Stealth and Intimidation skill rolls
• Expertise in Animal Handling
• One use of the spell "Detect Evil and Good" per long rest
The breastplate and shoulder protectors of this armor are made of leather that has been stiffened by being boiled in oil. The rest of the armor is made of softer and more flexible materials.
