Awakened
When a character awakens Elthirion, apply the following changes to the item’s traits:
- Increase the bonus to attack rolls to a +2.
- When you hit with an attack made with this weapon, roll the damage dice twice and take the higher result.
- When a creature makes a melee attack against you, you can use your reaction to impose disadvantage on the attack roll.
Exalted
When a character exalts Elthirion, apply the following changes to the item’s traits:
- Increase the bonus to attack rolls to a +3.
- Change the weapon’s damage dice to 2d6.
- You can spend a bonus action to gain the effects of a Haste spell for 1 minute. This ability cannot be used again until you finish a long rest.
Proficiency with a Scimitar allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
