This crossbow can store up to three spells at a time. By doing this, the bow will shoot the spell and the effect will begin at the point of impact. To infuse a spell, you must use a spell slot to cast a spell. The spell will only work if you hit a magic container at the back of the bow (You must make a spellcheck to beat the crossbows AC of 10). If you miss, the spell effect "leaks" out everywhere in a 5 ft radius and the wielder and everyone within 5 ft must make a DC 15 saving throw or take half damage of the spell effect. You can load the spells over 5 minutes (or the original casting time if it is more than 5 minutes) to make sure you don't miss.
You can use any of the three stored spells whenever you make a shot with the crossbow. Whenever you do so, you make a normal attack with the crossbow. If you hit, the arrow does its normal damage, and the spell is "cast" from the point of impact. If you miss, the spell is still cast from the point of impact. If the spell is directional, it will follow the path of the arrow. If the spell does not have any form of splash damage, the spell will not hit anyone on a miss.
Proficiency with a Light Crossbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
