Properties: This weapon has six charges, which are replenished when the wielder finishes a long rest. The number of charges available increases with the wielder's proficiency bonus, as follows:
- Proficiency bonus +2: 2 charges
- Proficiency bonus +3: 3 charges
- Proficiency bonus +4: 4 charges
- Proficiency bonus +5: 5 charges
- Proficiency bonus +6 or higher: 6 charges
As a reaction, after landing a killing blow, the wielder can expend one charge to summon a skeleton monster from the ground to fight for them. The monster’s above the size category medium can be raised, costing an additional charge as follows
- Large: 2 charges
- Huge: 3 charges
- Gargantuan: 4 charges
A statblock will be provided for the sizes above Medium The monsters last for one hour but you subtract 10 minutes for each size category above medium. The skeleton(s) will go after the weapon wielder.
Proficiency with a Greataxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Cleave. If you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using this weapon, you can make a melee attack roll with the weapon against a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. On a hit, the second creature takes the weapon’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
