Ax of the Discordant

"This one goes out to all the love in the world"

Created by the legendary artificer Feya Aine, on disgruntled commission for the devil Hemotch, this weapon possesses all of the power of the hells combined with the rhythmic might of the greatest bards. This greataxe has a +1 to attack and damage rolls, and deals an additional 1d6 necrotic damage on a hit. While holding it, you gain the following additional benefits.

You can use this axe as a spellcasting focus for Bard and Warlock spells. Your bard spells gain a +1 to spell attacks and save DC's while used to cast spells in this way, and your warlock spells deal 1d6 additional necrotic damage on the first roll of the spell.

This weapon can be played as an instrument. When you do so, and use it as apart of a performance, you can add 1d4 to your performance checks.

Whenever you take the attack action or cast a spell with your action, or make a performance check you can use one of the following features:

You can cast the Thaumaturgy or Prestidigitation cantrips before or after making the attack or casting the spell.

You can use one use of your bardic inspiration feature.

You can force one creature that can hear and see you within sixty feet to make a DC 17 wisdom saving throw or take a -1d4 penalty to their next saving throw or attack roll.

Proficiency with a Greataxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
