This weapon was fashioned by a master weapon smith and fighter after he wanted to combine the aspects of staff and sword into one. This weapon has a large handle in the middle of two blades. During an action, you can choose to use the weapon in 4 different ways.
Throw: You can throw the weapon 30/60 feet dealing 1d8 + dexterity modifier damage on a hit. The weapon then returns to you on your next turn. Roll a DC 9 dexterity saving throw. If unsuccessful then you drop the weapon as it comes back to you and must use your turn to pick it up. If successful you catch the weapon and you may make another attack.

You can also decide to hit a creature while spinning dealing 2d8 + dexterity modifier damage on a hit. Or you can deal 2d6 + acrobatics damage and move an additional 10 feet
Two-Bladed Attack: You can attack with this weapon twice dealing 2d6 + dexterity modifier damage on a hit.
Defensive Offense: on your turn, you defensively hold the weapon preparing for an attack. If on an enemy's turn if they decide to attack you with any non-magical attack you reduce the damage by 2d8 + dexterity modifier. You then attack the enemy turning their turn and dealing 3d6 + dexterity modifier. At 4th, 8th, 12th 16th and 20th level you gain an extra d8 reduction of damage when defending.
