Antitoxin Salves are a wet, topical treatment that is meant to be applied on top of the affected area within two turns of being affected. Most man-made toxins and poisons that are meant to be applied to weapons can be driven out by this item. Toxins and poisons from enemies that are of Challenge Rating 1 or lower are also expelled upon applying this salve. If the toxin/poison is from an enemy above CR 1 the salve will give you advantage on saves and checks against the poison/toxin. Made by crushing herbal ingredients, mud, and flower petals into a paste then wrapping that into a layer of thick leaves held together by twine. Antitoxin Salves take an action to apply as you must undo/remove the wrappings and take time to apply the mixture. Antitoxin Salves are common sights in apothecaries, herbalist shops, clinics, and potion shops and costs 30 gp. There are no higher quality versions of this salve. This salve does not get rid of blindness, if the poison/toxin does this, but does halve the recovery time. Using more than 5 antitoxin salves in a 24 hour period will leave a rash. The rash lasts for a day and does nothing other than just be itchy.
