Weapon (rapier), artifact (requires attunement by a by a descendant of Graz'zt)

The demon lord Graz'zt wields the greatsword Angdrelve, also called Wave of Sorrow, its wavy, razor-edged blade dripping acid at his command. A duplicate meant for mortals was made, meant to be held by whatever child he deemed fit. That child is you.

Woebringer is made of mithral, a lighter metal than steel. You become accustomed to this difference in weight over time. Upon reaching level 13, this increases the damage of it from 1d8 to 2d8.

If attuned to Angdrelven:

Upon attunement, roll on the following table (Madness of Graz'zt, MToF pg. 49).

You can use a bonus action to speak this magic rapier's command word, causing acid to drip from the wavy blade. While the rapier is activated in this way, it deals an extra 1d6 acid damage to any target it hits. The acid lasts until you use a bonus action to speak the command word again or until you drop or sheathe the rapier. Upon reaching level 17, the acid damage increases from 1d6 to 2d6.

While attuned to Woebringer, any holy water within 10 feet of you is destroyed, and you deal 1d6 necrotic damage to any nonmagical plant you touch.
