The Ashmoon family's moonblade has been passed down since before the founding of Myth Drannor. It was one of only a few moonblades created for the wood elf clans that protected the forests of old Aryvandaar. It is currently being wielded by Elisanna Ashmoon, a wood elf drakewarden ranger. She has been known to frequent the northern Sword Coast and areas surrounding the High Forest.
This moonblade has 5 runes, making it an ancient blade, but still as strong as the day it was first forged. It functions as a +2 longsword with the finesse property. It also behaves as a sentinel sword(glows faintly in the presence of demons and devils). Finally, it also acts as a ring of spell storing(currently containing 2 spells: L2 See Invisibility & L3 Fly).
The Ashmoon blade is a sentient chaotic good sword with the following stats: Intelligence 12, a Wisdom of 12, and a Charisma of 10. It has hearing and darkvision out to a range of 120 feet.
The weapon communicates by transmitting emotions, sending a tingling sensation through the wielder’s hand when it wants to communicate something it has sensed. It can communicate more explicitly, through visions or dreams, when the wielder is either in a trance or asleep.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
Notes: Weapon Property: Finesse, Wood Elf or Half-Elf of Any Good Alignment, Damage, Buff, Combat, Sentient, Versatile, Sap
