Weapon (longbow), artifact

"Auriel's Bow appears as a modest Elven Longbow, but it is one of the mightiest weapons ever to exist in Tamriel's history."

Auriel's bow has a +4 bonus to attack and damage rolls and acts as a +4 spellcasting bonus. On a hit, it deals 1d10 + 3d8 radiant damage.

Auriel's bow has 10 charges. The Charges come back at dawn. You can expend a charge to do the following:

Seeking Strike When you miss on an attack with the bow, re-roll your attack roll. On hit you crit.

Sun Strike Empower your arrow with the power of the sun. All targets within a 30ft radius of where you strike must make a Dexterity saving throw or take 10d8 radiant damage and half as much on a successful save. Any enemy hit with this arrow automatically fails the saving throw.

Alter Skies Expend 3 charges to fire your arrow at the sky. The arrow keeps flying toward the clouds and explodes, creating one of the following effects (1 minute duration):

Divine Storm: A divine thunderstorm kicks up, affecting a 1-mile radius. At the start of each round, roll 2d10. This is how many enemies are struck with radiant lightning.

Holy Winds: A 1-mile radius of incredibly strong winds kicks up. At the start of every round, all your enemies must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone.

Burning Rays: Rays of brilliant sunlight pierce the clouds within a 1-mile radius. At the start roll a d6. The number rolled is the number of rays. Choose points within a mile for the rays to strike. The rays strike in a 15 foot radius and deal 5d6 radiant damage to all enemies within that range, and heal allies for 4d6 hit points.

Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
