Amulet of the Nocturnal Aristocrat

This amulet, carved from a piece of moonstone, bears the relief of an owl on one side, and a symbol resembling a pair of wings on the other. It hangs on a chain of silver, and the eyes of the owl seem to shimmer with a life of their own.

Owl's Insight: Once per day, the wearer of the amulet can activate the owl side to gain the sharp vision of an owl. For the next hour, they gain advantage on Perception checks that rely on sight, and they can see up to 60 feet in dim light as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. This ability doesn't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Owlbear's Strength: The owl side of the amulet can also be used to summon a spirit owlbear once per month. When summoned, the spirit owlbear appears and fights as an ally for 10 minutes before disappearing. The owlbear obeys the commands of the amulet's wearer. After using this ability, it can't be used again until the next full moon.

Jarnathan's Belated Arrival(See spell 'Jarnathan's Belated Arrival for more details): Flipping the amulet over to the wings side and activating it summons Jarnathan, the aarakocra member of the Absolution Council. He appears in a fluster, apologizing for his tardiness and completely baffled as to how he arrived. He remains for 1D4 rounds; offering his aid as best he can despite his confusion, before being whisked away once again. This ability can be used once per week.

Cannot Be used by those of "Lawful" alignment. If Jarnthan is summoned with a Lawful alignment; he will leave in a huff as its clear he isn't needed.
