This amulet bears the symbol of Orcus and grants the wearer +2 to their AC and saving throws. Once per long rest, the wearer can cast the Finger of Death spell (DC 18) without expending a spell slot. Additionally, the wearer gains resistance to necrotic damage.
Curse: The amulet is cursed, and attuning to it extends the curse to you. As long as you remain cursed, you are unwilling to part with the amulet, keeping it within your possession at all times. The curse has the following effects:
Soul Bound: When you kill a creature using the Finger of Death spell granted by the amulet, a fragment of its soul is trapped within the amulet. Each soul fragment grants the wearer one additional charge of Finger of Death. However, when you use this additional charge, you gain one level of exhaustion. The amulet can hold up to three soul fragments at a time.
Bloodlust: Whenever you roll initiative, you must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or be consumed by an uncontrollable bloodlust. If you fail the saving throw, you must target the nearest creature to you, friend or foe, and attack them until they are reduced to 0 hit points or you become incapacitated. You can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of your turns to end the effect.
The curse can be lifted by a Remove Curse spell or similar magic. However, when the curse is lifted, the amulet loses all its properties, including the bonus to AC and saving throws, and becomes a mundane piece of jewelry.
Notes: Bonus: Armor Class, Bonus: Saving Throws, Resistance: Necrotic, Cursed
