It is said that rage is the purest form of emotion there is. One's anger and fury often times is enough to turn the tide of any battle or conflict in exchange for consuming one's self in perpetual torment....The mark of the beast. Do you control your anger? Or do you let the beast consume you?
Aesthetic: The armor is a set of black +3 plate armor with jagged spikes growing out of it. The gauntlets and boots look to be fashioned out of metal and bones as more jagged spikes seem to be pointed inwards. Like the metal pierces the flesh of the individual. The helmet seems to be fashioned from the face of a demonic entity. One that will morph based upon the individuals......inner rage.
Donning on the armor: When you put on the armor. You may now rage without the limitation of wearing medium armor or lower. Additionally the armor's gauntlets and boots will replace any missing limbs that you may have.
Wrath of the Berserker: When you enter your rage your hp is automatically set to 1, however you gain temporary hp equal to 3 times your maximum hp. While raging you cannot regain hp under any circumstance as the armor prevents any form of healing, rather you regain temporary hp equal to your level plus your constitution and charisma modifier for every attack that lands on a creature that you perform. You are also immune to any instant death effect while raging.
Powerstrikes: While raging you gain the following benefits.
- You may now add your level plus your constitution modifier to all damage rolls of your weapon attacks.
- Your movement speed increases by 30ft
- Anytime you hit with your weapon. You may make a grapple attack as a free action
Pain Nullification: While raging you are immune to being stunned and incapacitated. You feel no pain as your nervous system has been temporarily shut off.
Oath of hate: Your paladin aura no longer buffs allies, but rather debuffs enemies. Hostile creatures in your aura of protection now suffer a penalty to their saves equal to your charisma modifier.
DETRIMENTAL PROPERTY( UNCONTROLLABLE WRATH): Upon entering a rage you must make a DC 20 wisdom save. if you fail you are utterly consumed with your rage and violence as the helmet closes over your face as the animalistic avatar of your wrath manifests. While in this state, you view all creatures as hostile and you will attack the nearest living creature within 5ft of you. Your oath of hate feature will trigger on all living creatures and all of your attacks will be made at advantage and gain an extra 4 damage die. If you pass the first save you must make the save again at the beginning of all subsequent turns with the DC increasing by 2 every turn. At the end of your rages while in this state your body cannot handle the effects of the armor, you immediately gain 5 levels of exhaustion. Finally while not raging you have a permanent -5 to all wisdom and intelligence ability checks.
Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
Notes: Bonus: Armor Class, The Sin of Wrath, Str. 15 Required, Stealth Disadvantage
