Armour of the Bearded

This half-plate armour is decorated with a hammer motif and was once worn by Haklangr the Bearded, one of the twelve berserkers of King Hrólf Kraki. A man of strong arm and blunt personality, Haklangr nevertheless never looked down on the importance of defence to complement his steadfast offence.

You have a +1 bonus to AC while wearing this armour. You may also use a free action to give yourself resistance to either fire, cold or lightning damage until the end of your next turn. Each type of resistance can only be used once per day. In addition, while attuned to the armour, you have a 50 percent chance each day at dawn of growing a full beard if you're capable of growing one, or a visibly thicker beard if you already have one.

Half plate consists of shaped metal plates that cover most of the wearer's body. It does not include leg protection beyond simple greaves that are attached with leather straps.
