Wondrous Item, legendary (requires attunement by a requires attunement by a by a monk, sorcerer, rouge, or warlock through a blood link that must be established between the creature and the knives, leaving a wound that will lower the creature's maximum hitpoints by 5 for the next 24 hours, while it heals)

The blades will come in a group of 5. Once a blood link is made, the blades will be able to return to you at will if it is within a 100 ft range. The blades are imbued by an enchantment that will allow the blades to be directed by the carrier's will towards a target of their choice within 40 ft range while not making any exceedingly sharp turns as it travels toward its target. Each blade has a +5 modifier to hit and does 1d6 piercing damage each. The blades can be put in different stances depending on the situation.


 Executioner Stance. The blades will surround the user in a partial circle shape. The user will then channel for a round or minute before glowing runes appear on the blades.

A final attack

The first attack with these blades will execute any creature below 40 health, will do 50% max health damage for creatures above 40 health, and 30% max health damage for creatures above 150 health

Once this stance is used, the blades will immediately enter the defensive stance.

Offensive Stance. The blades will hover behind the user in a fan shape. The first attack with blades will do an additional 2 radiant damage, for each blade. The second attack will be with advantage.

Only in this stance can you attack your foes

Piercing Blades. As an action (once per 24 hours), the user can shoot all 5 blades in a 40-foot line, which can pierce through any creatures in its' path dealing an additional 3 piercing damage for each blade. The blades will then return to the user and automatically go into the defensive stance

 Defensive Stance. The blades will float around the user in a 3-foot radius.

Sometimes, the offensive action is not the best action

In this stance, all attacks against the user must be made with disadvantage

Sharpened Shield. As a reaction (which can be taken again after a long rest), the blades will fly toward a targeted creature within a 15-foot radius, shielding them from an incoming attack. If the incoming attack was a melee attack, the attacking creature will take 1d6 slashing damage. The shield will last for 1 round and has an ac of 12 and 15 hitpoints. If the hitpoints are depleted by an attack, the excess damage will hit the shielded creature and the blades will return to the user and go into the passive stance

Graceful Stance. The blades will float next to all friendly creatures within 30 feet, weaving in between them.

Grace and precision are key elements of any battle

In this stance, any singular blade can be called upon by an ally as a bonus action

Peace. The area enclosed by the blades will be affected by a magical aura diminishing thoughts of violence. All creatures within the area must make a Charisma saving throw, they may choose to fail it. On a success the creature is unaffected. On a fail, the creature loses its desire for violence but may still make defensive actions.

Concealment Stance. The blades will shrink to the size of daggers, which can be easily hidden from view and other magical means.

When stealth is of utmost importance

The blades will act as daggers with a +3 to hit and with an additional 1 radiant damage per blade

As an action, the blades will enter the graceful stance
