Potion, very rare
These potions were crafted using ancient blood magic that heightens certain aspects of the DNA in the blood to produce varying effects. This odd brew is more potent when consumed by particular creatures.
If you are a living humanoid you gain the following effects:
When you drink this potion you can choose two of the following benefits, which last for 1 hour:
- Your walking speed increases to 60 and you gain the benefits of the Spider Climb spell.
- You grow long vampire-like teeth and can make an unarmed attack with your bite. This attack has a magical +2 to hit and damage rolls and deals 3d6 + your attack roll modifier in piercing damage. Once per turn when you deal damage with this attack you regain hit points equal to half your level.
- You gain the magical power to sense living things around you. You can see all living creatures within 120 feet of you. This sense is blocked by magic such as nondetection, or cover of up to 30 feet of wood or dirt, 15 feet of stone, 5 feet of metal, or if the creature is wearing more than one item made of silver, or a holy symbol, and is trying to hide from you.
- You can use a bonus action to become invisible (via the Invisibility spell), which lasts for 1 minute. When your invisibility ends, you roll 1d6 each turn thereafter regaining the ability to become invisible again on a result of 5 or 6.
When these benefits end, you must succeed on a Constitution saving throw (DC 13) or gain the Poisoned condition for 8 hours.
If you are an Undead creature or a Dhampir, you gain the following additional benefits as well as not suffering the adverse effects of the potion:
- Your Hit Point Maximum is increased by an amount equal to your level.
- Any Constitution or Death Saves you make are made at Advantage.
- When you make a bite attack, you deal an additional 2d6 damage of the same type.
- Consuming this potion will subdue your hunger for up to a month.
