A silver and gold ring with a red ruby on top infused with the necrotic power of a long passed necromancer by the name of Yiozor, some say part of his soul is still inside the ring.
When the owner of the ring puts it on they instantly take 5 necrotic damage and 5 more at the start of its owner's turn (every 10 seconds outside of combat). Once 30 points of necrotic damage are inflicted to its owner via the ring the finger that wears the ring will shrivel off and die with no way to reattach or grow a new finger.
While wearing the ring the owner can add an additional 2d6 necrotic damage to any spell attack they cast. The wearer of the ring can also spend life for spell slots with 5 necrotic damage for the first level going up by 5 each level. Using this ability to create a sixth level spell slot or higher instantly decays your finger and the user must succeed a DC 14 constitution saving throw or take 1 point of exhaustion raising by 1 for each level above 6th level.
