This radiant potion swirls with multicolored energy contained in a small vial. As you uncork the vial, a vibrant, otherworldly aroma fills the air. It's like nothing you've smelled before, a scent that seems to beckon to the very magic within you.
When you drink this potion, your eyes glow with an intense, arcane light as your body becomes a conduit for raw magical energy. For one turn, you can cast one of your spells at its highest level without expending a spell slot. If the spell has an upcast version, you can cast it one level higher than the maximum spell level you can normally cast.
For example, if you can normally cast up to 5th-level spells, you could cast a spell you know as a 6th-level spell.
The glow from your eyes fades after the surge of magic subsides, leaving your eyes temporarily sensitive to light. For the next 1 minute, you have disadvantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight.
Due to its potent effects, the Arcane Resurgence Elixir is to be used with caution. While less severe than many magical stimulants, it can still tax the body's natural limits and should not be used lightly.
