Battlebook: This spellbook can be your spellcasting focus, giving a +1 bonus to your spell attacks and spell save DC. On your turn, you can use a free action to transform this book into a magic greataxe, the page edges forming the blade. The weapon loses the Heavy and gains the Finesse properties, and you get a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls.
Arcane Smith: When you hit a creature with this spellbook in greataxe form, you can expend a spell slot to an extra 1d6 + 1d6 per slot level. You choose a damage type that appears in a spell in the spellbook.
Bookmark: When you use your Arcane Smith on a creature that has blood, you can choose to absorb the blood of this creature inside one of the pages of your spellbook. The creature's now 'bookmarked' in your spellbook (unless it's protected against divination magic, in which case this feature fails) on a page that indicates its age, a portrait, its species and its name. You can destroy a bookmark page to cast Locate Creature and Scrying on that creature, even if you don't know these spells and consider that you have a body part of the creature for the save regarding Scrying. After using those spells this way, the bookmarked page disintegrates. You can have at most 1 bookmarked page.
