Weapon (greataxe), uncommon (requires attunement by a Requires attunement by a creature that can speak Dwarvish)

This magical greataxe was forged by Garnyl Witguard, a brilliant dwarven wizard who specialized in abjuration magics.

Whenever you successfully hit a creature with this axe, you may choose to expend a charge or charges in order to apply one of the following effects:
-A creature within 60ft of you that you can see gains a bonus to their AC equal to your proficiency bonus until the start of your next turn (1 charge)
-A creature within 60ft of you that you can see gains a bonus to their saving throws equal to your proficiency bonus until the start of your next turn (2 charges)

You cannot target yourself with these effects, and a creature can only be targeted this way once per turn.

The axe has 5 charges and it regains all charges daily at dawn.

Proficiency with a Greataxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Cleave. If you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using this weapon, you can make a melee attack roll with the weapon against a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. On a hit, the second creature takes the weapon’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.

Notes: Requires attunement by a creature that can speak Dwarvish, Heavy, Two-Handed, Cleave
