This solid brass mask is carved into the eyeless face of an elf; its edges are filigreed with copper symbols of sun and fire.
Attuning to the mask grants the wearer a special form of sight. While wearing it, the wearer perceives their surroundings as hazy, shadowy images in its mind's eye out to a range of 60ft and experiences all sound as muffled, as if in a windstorm. While perceiving this way, the wearer's immune to all forms of gaze attack is immune to the Blinded and Deafened conditions and has advantage on saves against illusions. However, the wearer also has disadvantage on Perception checks related to sight and sound.
