This magic item is, as stated in it's name, an arm of an undead that is holding onto another arm of an undead and that arm is holding a knife.
Basically whenever you attack an enemy (1d10+str Modifier + a disadvantage of -2 penetration damage) the arm holding the knife will stick into the target and deal 1d4 penetration damage each turn for 1d3 turns before it will fall off or it is taken out by the target for the cost of one action. If the other arm is not retrieved then you can still whack a target with the main arm for 1d10-2 bludgeoning damage or thrown for a 2d6+strmod-2.
In order to pick up the knife wielding arm after it has been used you have to make a persuasion roll. This is because the knife arm still thinks it is in combat and will attack anything it touches for a 1d4 penetration damage. You must calm it down and convince it that all the mean baddies are gone before it will let you touch it without you losing a finger or two.
Because of how awkward swinging around not one but TWO dismembered arms is there is a disadvantage to using them.
Proficiency with a War Pick allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
Notes: Versatile, Sap
