Armor (plate), artifact (requires attunement by a Righteous Heart)

A golden piece of plate armor ornamented with several large jewels. It is usually found in the form of a gauntlet though it has the ability to change itself to the needs of the it's user (such as taking the place of a missing leg). The armor is sentient (lawful good) and won't attune to those without similar values. Once attuned the user, by spending 1 charge, to manifest the full suit. The full suit gives the user several benefits, such as:

  • A strength score of 20
  • Resistance to all physical damage
  • An immunity to the Unconscious & Stunned conditions
  • Cast Suit spells as a bonus action

Whenever the Armor is worn in full it pushes the users body to the absolute limit. Roll a DC 15 Constitution saving throw for every hour spent wearing it, gaining 1 level of exhaustion on every fail.

No matter what injury the user takes the Armor will do its best to keep it's user functional and moving. Even death won't stop the user, the suit will supernaturally prolong the users life until it is removed or destroyed.

There are 4 sections of the suit: Helmet, Chest, Arms, and Legs. Each section accounts for 2 AC. If each one breaks the suit is destroyed.

Each use of the Suit's Mending Spell regenerates one section of it.

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
