Amulet of Home Finding

Home Finding Amulets are made from copper with a compass rose inscribed on the face that has a small amethyst set in the center and the words "there's no place like home" on the back of the amulet. After the wearer is attuned to the item, the direction for home is found by facing each of the cardinal points while concentrating on the mental picture of home. The amulet will become warm to the touch when the correct direction is faced but grow colder for every direction that is not toward home. Many sailors and pirates use these and are highly prized possession as it makes losing ones' way on the ocean that much more difficult.
