The hunting rifle of Nillen, leader of Nillen's Pharmacy. With her complex knowledge of alchemy and botany, Nillen had created several highly potent narcotics that have made her the greatest drug lord of Alacria. Many praise her for actually creating compounds and drugs that have proven to be useful in the curing of deadly diseases and those same people willingly turn a blind eye to the number of overdoses caused by her drug manufacturing operations.
Orignally, the hunting rifle was painted black and used in military operations. Once Nillen got her hands on it, she modified it with a number of enchantments and gadgets that have made her a terrifying force to reckon with. Crazed addicts and bold, naive law enforcement that have managed to escape her numerous traps and distractions are usually met with the barrel of this firearm monstrosity. In doing so, Nillen has cemented herself in the Alacrian consciousness as someone no one dare try to mess with.
This magic weapon grants a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it. This weapon also comes with the Repeating Shot magical infusion.
Before entering combat, you can load the contents of a vial into the stock of the rifle in order to add 1d10 + your Intelligence modifier of elemental damage (e.g. poison or cold). This elemental damage type can be added to the first 6 shots of your rifle. You can load the vial into the rifle before combat, or take two rounds of combat loading a new vial into the rifle.
It’s up to you to decide whether a character has proficiency with a firearm. Characters in most D&D worlds wouldn’t have such proficiency. During their downtime, characters can use the training rules in the Player’s Handbook to acquire proficiency, assuming that they have enough ammunition to keep the weapons working while mastering their use.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, Weapon Property: Loading, Prerequisite: 8th-level artificer or 10th-level ranger or rogue, artificer, ranger, or rogue, Damage, Combat, Range, Two-Handed, Ammunition (Firearms), Reload, Slow

Posted Aug 31, 2021wow, thats a good idea. I'm thinking about turning it into a subclass for artificer where you make a gun and infuse it so when you fire it does the damage type specified. also, make it be able to heal at later lv's and so on.
thanks
