Amulet of the Archer's Heart

An amulet in the shape of an owl in flight below a crescent moon, superimposed upon a background of  an inverted triangle containing three overlapping rings, this powerful amulet was created by Moon Elves from the city of Silverymoon for the purpose of fighting undead, devils, and fiends. It has an elvish inscription on the back that reads: "Keen of eye, strong of arm, steady of thought, archer, follow thine heart".

A charge can be expended as a bonus action to deal 1d4 radiant damage on the next ranged attack. If the attack fails, then the charge is wasted.

The amulet regains 1d4 charges per short rest. If all charges are expended, roll a 1d20; on a 1, the amulet shatters and disappears forever. 

This item cannot be used by creatures of evil alignment.

Notes: Bonus: Dexterity Score, Damage: Radiant, Requires 3 to 5 hours of meditation while both wearing and holding the amulet in both hands to attune.
